Borussia Dortmund has rejected a $117 million offer from Manchester United for Jadon Sancho. 

United has been consistent in their pursuit of Sancho this summer.

Manchester City have agreed to sign Ruben Dias from Benfica for €68 million ($79.3 million) plus add-ons. 

City will send Nicolas Otamendi to Benfica in a separate transfer for €15 million.

Dias, 23, has made 137 appearances during a four-year spell with Benfica, winning the league title in 2018-19.

Manchester United continue to pursue a transfer for Jadon Sancho as the closing of the window is one week away.

Borussia Dortmund have maintained Sancho is not for sale and will stay with the club at least one more year.

United have an agreement in principle with Sancho's representatives over wages and agent fees.

Dortmund is asking for €120 million for Sancho.

Ruben Dias is close to signing with Manchester City, according to ESPN.

Nicolas Otamendi could join Benfica as part of the deal.

Jules Kounde, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Jose Gimenez have also been considered for the centerback role. 

The 23-year-old Dias is set to arrive in Manchester this week to negotiate a deal. 

Atletico Madrid have signed Luis Suarez from Barcelona on a free transfer. 

Diego Simeone was the driving force behind the move for Suarez, which fell into place once Alvaro Morata joined Juventus on loan on Tuesday.

Suarez had previously rejected the chance to join Inter Miami, who offered him the chance to become the highest-ever paid player in Major League Soccer with a deal worth around €8 million annually.

Ansu Fati's release clause has automatically increased to €400 million ($466 million) after Barcelona officially promoted him to the first team.

Fati will inherit the No.22 shirt which was vacated this week by Arturo Vidal, who joined Inter Milan.

Fati became Barca's youngest ever scorer in La Liga when he scored a header against Osasuna aged 16 years and 304 days last August.

Barcelona has backtracked on an agreement to let Luis Suarez leave the club for free when it emerged he was on the verge of signing with Atletico Madrid.

Suarez is now considering holding a news conference alongside his lawyers if the situation cannot be resolved to give his version of events.

Suarez is not in the plans of Ronald Koeman and Barcelona began allowing him to negotiate with other clubs.

Atletico had reached an agreement with Suarez on Monday and hoped to finalise the transfer as soon as Alvaro Morata's loan move to Juventus was confirmed.

Arturo Vidal arrived in Milan ahead of an expected move to Internazionale.

The move would reunited the 33-year-old midfielder with Antonio Conte, whom he won three Serie A titles with at Juventus.

Conte attempted to sign Vidal last season, but was unable to complete the move.

Vidal had won the league every season from 2012 until last year. 

Nelson Semedo is close to joining Wolves from Barcelona for close to $47 million.

The 26-year-old Semedo, who will replace Matt Doherty at right wing, is expected to be in England to finalize the move.

Barcelona have been linked with Ajax's Sergino Dest and Norwich City's Max Aarons as replacements.

Norwich have reportedly rejected Barcelona's moves for Aarons.

Bayern Munich are also in the running to sign Dest.
